It's $59 if you already have a Verizon phone else it's $79. Or, it's $59 without a Verizon plan already but not Broadband. If you think you have Broadband then bring up www.2wire.com and run the speed test.

i have verizon so i went out and got a verizon broadband type 2 card and i can use it all i want for $59.99 a month it will work almost anyplace my phone will. takes at least 2 bars for it to work.Originally Posted by Catman
That's true but your not broadband. The card is capable of it but you have to pay. Go to www.2wire.com and run the speed test and you'll see. I'm at 3mbs here at home on broadband. If I didn't pay the extra I wouldn't get the speed. Your on National Access, not Broadband.Originally Posted by flood
They may have a deal at $59 if you have a Verizon phone plan also. Run the speed test and post your results.
My Sprint card runs at 883.1 kps. The second time it ran at 899 kps. :? Hey, if I keep going I may be up to 3 mps.![]()
We just got the new sprint air card and it is really FAST!! I get connections in places where the old card would NEVER connect and I can connect while ROAMING!! All this for 59.00 month.

I had the same prob when i got my new pc. Had to take the sim out of the card and put it in my old razor and connect with a usb cable .Both phone and card use edge technology so it make no different .But if you have got the newer g3 sim cards you will have a to use a g3 phone to get the faster speeds.
Last night I used Idleaire's wireless at the OKC Petro. Signal kept dropping and reconnecting and speed was iffy. Sometimes it was pretty fast, faster than what I have at home, and other times very slow. Tonight I'm at the Pilot in Waco (Robinson), TX and hooked up with Siricomm. Says 11Mbps, but it's only marginally faster than dial-up.![]()
I'm a bit reluctant to drop $90/month on 'net, but this wireless stuff kinda sucks.![]()
