    Default Spys photos, Proto Freightliner

If you run up and down 5 in oregon or washington you have probably seen t he freightliner test fleet trucks. Numerous types of frieghtlners from Classic's to Box trucks. I was coming up on this one and got some photos. It looks like Freightliners version of the new Prostar. The hood was covered up with padding so you couldn't really see what it looks like but it's definently a change. Check out the new mirrors on the fender/doors and the new window's. Anyone have any info on this new truck?

It does resemble the new ProStar... almost smacks of a little Volvo as well to me. Haven't heard of anything, but I guess it's going to be the Columbia's newest incarnation.

Looks like they copied Kenworth's T2000 as well, judging by the mirrors.

Yeah, I agree.... the one thing I can really say I *don't* like is the hood mirrors.... they look like car mirrors stuck randomly on the hood :? I love running with fender mirrors, but egads, I hope they redesign that before releasing the final version of the truck!

May God bless all in their ventures......Been gone while but now I'm back. Going to keep on trucking even though the freight is sucking.

The hood is too long & low for a Sterling.
