Default Time to end this! Time to go home!

Since Eastern Europeans were allowed into the E.E.C and therefore permitted to work in the U.K, an estimated 600,000 have made the journey in 12 months!
Government sources (Office of National Statistics) estimate that by being unable to work for such low wages as the Europeans do, over 100,000 Brits have been made redundant, and this figure is rising rapidly.
Eastern Europeans working in the U.K, contribute almost nothing towards our economy as they invariably send the bulk of their earnings back home.
The normally placid and diplomatic Brits are getting a trite pissed off!
    Watch this space....
Riots and social unrest all over the U.K are a matter of months away.
The British National Party gain momentum(Nazis)
All cos of Tony ****witt Blair and his inability to stand up for our right to govern ourselves....
    Sorry for the rant folks...

Those of us here in the "colonies" understand. It is not much different than the problem we have with Mexico since our goverment likes to turn a blind eye on the illegal immigration problem.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

Wot, that is exactly what we have going on in the US and have had for a number of years and it just gets worse each day. Just now if the govt doing something about it, they are erecting a chain link fence to keep our southern "friends" out unless they come in legally.

Government actions like this, I.E allowing hordes of foreigners in whether mexican or eastern european, push you to the far right of the political spectrum don,t they?
    I don,t wanna be a nazi, but........
OK, maybe bit extreme there but you get the idea
And thanks for reading and responding to my ranting and raving..
    I feel better now.
So much better in fact, that I feel compelled to visit the local supermarket and queue behind the all russians and kosovans standing there with their food vouchers, even though their pockets are full of my hard earned taxes...
    What a life eh?

The bill was signed but Congress didn't fund it.

The only fence getting built is by the Minutemen thru donations and willing landowners...

And it doesn't matter anyways, the fence is a total joke. As a few Mexicans at my work said, "they build fence here(Texas), we go over here and cross(New Mexico), it no bother us, we just go somewhere else to cross." I mean they can get their hands on bolt cutters and just cut the fence open and walk right thru, what's to stop them?? Electrifing it will not work, they will find some way to ground it out and then cut a hole thru it. They also said, "No matter, we just dig hole and go under it, all tunnels under Arizona, they no catch us."

I wonder why Congress did not fund it, it is going to cost $6 billion or about $300 per linear foot.

Maybe this will shed some light on your question.

I have decided that the time has come for me to fly my family down to Mexico, and spend a few days vacationing. We've worked hard, and we've earned it!! We'll have enjoy a week down in Cozumel and another week in Cancun.

After that, I plan to sneak them back across the American border, at which time we will immediately become eligible for free health care, free housing, food stamps, free education, and welfare!!!

Cancun is nice, but it is not Mexican like it used to be, big time Americanized.

    Default The Mexicans are Gone!

Celadon fired all their Mexicans couple of weeks ago. YeeHaw! Yeehaw! They had about 250 Mexicans driving trucks from Laredo to Dallas. They filed suit against Celadon saying they weren't getting paid as much as the Americans.... Awww, boo hoo. They told'em to pack their bags, empty their trucks and go back to Mexico!

I am soooo happy! They made such a trash pit out of the Dallas terminal and were always stealing all the shower towels! Yea! Good riddance! I guess they smartassed themselves right out'of a job!

    The sun shines today!

fire the 250 hire another 250 next month if the mexican were americans or legal immigrants then they schouldnt have been fired they themselves fighting for the same pay as us speaks volumes your yeehaww isnt worthy of a whoopteduuuuuu.the the fact that 250 of them stuck together is a miracle in it self.

Well i'll give it a whoopteduuuuuu and if they were Americans, then they would of not been fired more than likely. They should fight for competitive wages in Mexico, not here, unless they are citizens.

And by default... terrorism. I hope people really take the time to consider that. And ask themselves if "terrorism" isn't really just a convenient way of "getting things done."

Yea, them Mexicans were all "legal". They had H1B visa's to work in the US. H1B visa's are for immigrants doing jobs in America Americans don't want to do. They (The Mexicans with Visa's) drove 25 million miles last year. I guess no one in America wants to drive trucks so we gotta have immigrants (mexicans) do it.

And your right about the wages here at Celadon. They are low, industry wise. The talk is cause Celadon keeps hiring Mexicans they are keeping the wages for everyone else low. This movie is coming to a theater near you soon! Now maybe our wages will rise at least to the "trainee level?"

    Default Mexican Invasion

Yep, it's a full scale Mexican Invasion! This is not immigration. I'm wondering why these Mexicans are not back in Mexico trying to make their country a better place rather than come up here to steal our jobs? I guess cause it's easier... yep, easier to "run away" from your own country than make an effort to improve your living/working conditions back home!
