That is excess in its upmost form.
31 feet of truck in front of 53 feet of trailer - 84 feet total length.

If you think it is alright to haul for fuel money
you are part of the problem sell your truck now

54,000 lbs empty weight, with the trailer. :shock:Originally Posted by mudawg
That's the reason for the pusher axle under the sleeper.
The truck just changed hands again - the previous owner had it for about 3 years. It's fully decked out - seperate shower from the toilet, washer/dryer, full kitchen, recessed lighting in the ceiling, full size fridge, couches, and all the bells and whistles.
It's fun watching it try to turn though, and he had the parking lot blocked for most of the day - he had to get 2 weight tickets, cuz the thing is too long for the scale at the warehouse.
 That thing looks more like its made for camping than trucking! Unreal. My house isn't even half that nice!
Seriously? That whole front "truck" is really the cab?Originally Posted by Rev.Vassago

and I thought my 310 and 330 inch wheelbase trucks were long![]()
Saw one here that was nearly as long and just had to ask how many rooms he had and if it was a 2 level on a basement. Ridiculous how big the one in Rev's pic is. Just get a freakin RV with a tow hitch behind you.
My thoughts EXACTLY!Originally Posted by Useless

Now... someone help me out here, will ya? The trailer on the far left with the EL over ES (Grabel Lines?) is NOT part of this truck, right?
I SEE the part with the zippity do lines that must be the sleeper, but what about that little sliver just behind it? If that's the trailer, it's too close to leave room for a turn. It must be something else.
I see the "pusher axle" but I don't see the drives. Or is that them under and behind the Grabel Lines trailer in the forefront?

I don't think its hooked up to the Graebel trailer considering where the shadow is.....

Correct.Originally Posted by golfhobo
Yup - the drives are under the trailer, right where they should be. The distance from the nose of the trailer to the front of the truck is 31 feet (by my size 12 steps) The sleeper accounts for 19 of the 31 feet. That's a 228 inch sleeper, or just over three of mine put together.I see the "pusher axle" but I don't see the drives. Or is that them under and behind the Grabel Lines trailer in the forefront?
It actually had a trailer backed up to a dock, with a dropped trailer next to it.Originally Posted by bulldog2036
Okay, I think I got it now. The Graebel Van Lines trailer is dropped with the dollies hidden in the shadow or just out of the picture to the left.
The tandem axles that LOOK as if they are under the front of that trailer, are actually behind it, and part of the tractor in question.
The trailer attached to THE truck, is directly behind (beside) the Graebel trailer and out of view. I think I see the pigtail now.
And the sliver that I see between the biggo sleeper and the Graebel trailer is actually part of the sleeper of another truck further behind the biggo truck (see the vent?) and blending in with the wall of a building!
In fact, the little white half-moon thingie is not sitting on top of the sleeper (like the a/c unit is) but rather is sitting on top of the building in the background.

Um.... nope! Sorry, Rev. That's a neat "tool" and I wish I knew how to use it, but the shadows confirm that the Graebel Van Lines trailer at the left forefront is NOT attached to the truck in question. And the little round dome is NOT part of the sleeper.
Don't MAKE me have to PROVE it!![]()

Upon further review of the Hi Resolution picture, yes - there is yet another trailer sitting next to that one, obscuring the trailer that the truck is hooked up to.Originally Posted by golfhobo
But the round dome IS in fact, on the truck. It is the satellite system.
The cab is the part with doors the part behind the doors is called the sleeper.Originally Posted by Consider
Rev: Hmm.... well.... if YOU took the picture, and saw the truck up close, I won't argue with you. But, if not.... I'm quite sure the dome is NOT the satellite system.
I've seen hundreds of those on every make of truck out there, and that don't look like any of them. I have seen a few mounted on top of a flat sleeper (very few) but most are tucked inside the cowling on the back of the cab.
Futhermore, NONE that I've seen are bigger than an a/c unit. Then there are photographic principles involved that I couldn't begin to explain. In fact, the more I look at it, the more I think it might be the top of a water tower that is, in fact, in the distance BEHIND the building that is behind the truck.
take a REAL close look at the top of the sleeper just behind the a/c unit. See that little step up? See how it ends half way through the base of the dome? Either the dome is "off center" to the far side of the truck and that little step-up (which would make it even bigger compared to the a/c unit,) or it's not even ON the top of the sleeper. Of course, "I" don't have a HIRES picture to go by. But, it is not in focus as clearly as the a/c unit, and not even as much as the tree branch just to the left of it. (that would place it further away than the tree branch.)
Just a hobby of mine. Can't say for sure!![]()

Do not want to be rude golfhobo, but you need to work on your hobby a little more.
I hope to clear this up. Here is another pic of the truck. I awoke about 11pm at night to get my day started. I was in Russel, IL at the TA at exit 1. I park over by the truck wash where people drop their trailers. Good privacy. I open my curtains and get out to do my walk around. I move to the front of the truck to open the hood when I see this truck out of the corner of my eyes across the way and down a little. After recovering from the sheer size of the thing, I went and grabbed my phone and snapped this photo.
The satellite is part of the truck. I hope another photo and the fact that I saw it with my own eyes clears this up.
The thing in question is a satellite, then you have the a/c and the square on top I can only surmise is a vent or sunroof(if you will) like they have on RVs.
