    Default Saw a Wal-Mart Bed-Bugger today...

I saw a brand new Wal-Mart Freightliner Columbia (never seen a Freightshaker from walmart) pulling a brand new bed-bugger trailer today, and it had all the usual Wal-Mart markings on it. Anyone ever see one of these? I've heard that Wal-Mart uses their own trucks to move manager's when they change stores and such, but seemed rather unusual. Nice new equipment though, shiny and clean!

I work at Wal-Mart and I've seen a few Wal-Mart Columbia condos hauling the regular freight trailers as well as the traditional short sleeper International 9200i.

Wal-Mart also has a few Volvo VNL's and at least one Kenworth T600.

Here's one of the moving vans.

And you're right, they are used for moving managers and such. I think they are also used to haul equipment used for remodels and also furniture/computer parts but don't quote me on that.
You can take the driver out of the truck but you cant take the truck out of the driver.

Thanks for the info there PackRat. For some reason we don't get many of the walmart freightliners around the northwest. Not sure why, I know that most of the ones coming out my way from Hermiston are volvos or internationals. Again, I appreciate the info.

They may be more of a southern regional thing.

I can assure you that the only thing "bedbugger-ish" about them is their trailers...not their bank accounts, and/or pay-stubs.
    Save a drum......bang a trucker!
