    http://www.theindychannel.com/family...69/detail.html

Priests gathering money for their buddies who where thrown out of the clergy for molesting children?

WOW! More of the same from more of the same sources.

Once they've been convicted, aren't they criminals like any other criminal? They went to prison for their crimes, didn't they? And Priests get their money from the people of the parish. Then, our tax dollars supported them. Now, the people of the parishes are supposed to support them again? Next, will we have to suport ALL former inmates???
    Destroy the cities...
    and they will rebuild them.
    Destroy the farms...
and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.

Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...
and grass will grow in the executive offices.

    The bill has come due.

Sounds more like Barbaric Law, or Mob Rule, to me.

Perhaps they should retain Ex-Congressman Richard Foley to be their Chief Fund Raiser!!

    What?

When you do wrong who are you to answer too, GOD? You will but in a different way but the person you harmed is who you need to ask directly of.

How humble is a kid when he steals from a store and the parent takes the kid back to the store to answer for his deed?

Face the medicine and allow them you harmed to be your critic.

Read the commandments... the main ones are about what you should not do among each other as each disregard harms that sole, that conscious being, that face of GOD; being able to exist in a molecular state and know it exists.

Each damage has a rolling affect. Ever had your car broken into? Lock it now don't you. What we do to one affects them forever unless we face our ill directly and ask to be foregiven, then maybe just maybe we can hopefully not be a negative reference within that person.

Being of Love and compassion we are in the image of God, why do you think we are capable of becoming "enlightened" and know the total from a single point.

and see how even a congressman suggests it was what happened as a child that screwed him up.

So if that person who had harmed him was put in front of him acknowledging his errors and allowing Foley to see just how wrong it was, maybe just maybe, foley would not have continued with the ill of what he had been exposed too.

I get your point, Bishadi. I guess I was thinking about what would happen to a murderer or one who committed vehicular manslaughter, if they were forced to face those whom they had offended, rather than fullfilling their sentence according to a CIVIL law.

    Read the commandments...

I HAVE... for at LEAST 10 years longer than you have been alive.

I was right there with you until that last ambiguous statement that must have been presented for the extra points earned by hitting the "triple" square on the Scrabble board!

Hmm.... It could be said that the definition of enlightenment was "knowing the single point from an understanding of the total."

I have one question about Foley that I have not heard an answer to.

Having served on Capitol Hill, does he leave his post with a pension? If so, what kind of punishment is that?

According to the St. Petersburg Times:

"Former U.S. Rep. Mark Foley will receive a pension of $32,000 a year after the age of 62. If Foley takes his pension early at age 56, he will receive $22,400 a year.

The calculations are based on formulas for House members with almost 12 years of service, according to the National Taxpayers Union, which tracks congressional pension issues.

Pensions are adjusted each year based on cost of living."

    One word - Emasculate!
On the edge of sleep, I heard voices behind the door
The known and the nameless, familiar and faceless
My angels and my demons at war'

    At war...

'Which one will lose depends on what I choose
Or maybe which voice I ignore...'

    Wilderness of mirrors
    Streets of cold desire
    My precious sense of honor
Just a shield of rusty wire
    I hold against the chaos
And the cross of holy fire

    Wilderness of mirrors
    So easy to deceive
    My precious sense of rightness
    Is sometimes so naive
    So that which I imagine
    Is that which I believe
    RUSH
