HEY... Slimland... COME ON BACK. I was not trying to kick you out. Look at the title of this thread... It was OBVIOUSLY bait for YOU in the first place... Otherwise, why the "WARNING.. SCIENCE BASED"?

It takes all kinds to make up this world, and I'm afraid you're one of us. I was simply trying to reign you in a little. Otherwise, when you hyjack a thread, you fill the whole page. They're teaching "CREATIONISM" in schools too, so you DO have a place here.

and grass will grow in the executive offices.

    The bill has come due.

I'm a Big Bang Bleever.....and I believe that what we call God evolved from the result. But he ain't "watching over us". He is us.

I'm also a bleever in reincarnation......no, not as cows and dogs, but as regular people. I believe we choose our parents, oftentimes, and the conditions of our lives. Sometimes we make good choices, sometimes not.

I know it was bait, and what good bait it was!
I think y'all just wanted to see if I could pick it apart!, well I guess in my own way I did, Big Bang is possible, but like I said, I believe in our language it was "let there be light", I realy don't have much else to say. I now this is not a debate, and I have already stated my Idea. I am not saying that anyone has to believe what I believe, I just stated on the questions posed about the theory of big bang and evolution.

I do believ God gave man the ability to adapt to his sourounding's "boy I misspelled that one", I also believ that we are not evolving, but devolving ( if that is a word). Like I stated in an earlier post, on this same thread.

Anyway I'll keep a close eye and enjoy other's opinion's.
and in my mind I will be the Judge and The Jury.

Or maybe which voice I ignore...'

    Wilderness of mirrors
    Streets of cold desire
    My precious sense of honor
Just a shield of rusty wire
    I hold against the chaos
And the cross of holy fire

    My precious sense of rightness
    Is sometimes so naive

And the direction of this thread is science, right?

In the end, if you need proof to believe in your God, I challenge the steadfastness of your belief in the first place.

If you could prove God to me, then I think that the proof itself would invalidate HIM in my eyes.
In that sense, it is wonderful that GOD is not provable. As then I am able to define the difference in myself between science and GOD.

How would proof of God, invaladate Him in your eye's? Curious!!!

The validation of a proposition by application of specified rules, as of induction or deduction, to assumptions, axioms, and sequentially derived conclusions.

I do not mean to pick this apart, but--------Darwin said again " If there is a God, He would have to be boundless, and unlimited, a circle of circumfrence who's everywhere, and who's center is no where, He must be Duality, and consist of the manafest and the none manafest" What I posted earlier follow these rules.

Rocks stick together, pressure creates volcanoes, volcanoes create heat, Heat creates water and atmosphere, Water and oxygen create slime, slime turns to fish, fish turn to mammals, mammals evolve to humans.

Of course, many men are slime, so they jumped two stages of evolution.

    That is how Man evolved.

We all know that woman came from sugar, spice and everything nice.

( I am sucking up here, in case you did not notice)

How does heat creat water? How does slime turn to fish? How does fish turn into mammals?

Guys come on God uses the same laws that govern the earth the universe and all things just like we as man have to do. Simple as that. Now stated Here is my insight to this whole thing your both right. God di creat man from the elements of the earth space what ever ok we are all carbon based life forms How he did it is another thing. I do not feel that we evoloved from Apes Monkeys or the like or else it would still be happening to this very day. But One could shoot that down by going to a local High school at lunch and it looks like the monkey house at the zoo.
I digress.. Ok man is subject to evelution ok a mere 500 years ago man was smaller lived shorter lives the average higth for a man was just over 5 feet. Now its over 6 feet. So we do evolve. We adapt to our enviroment and change. I just wish that the evelution of the third arm would hurry up. I need one some times. Ok so God was the prime mover Now who created the Creator?

He has to use the same laws yes.
Who created the creator, I don't know all it say's was in the beggining was God, so forth and so on. I guess we will find out when were in heaven.

Here is another one for ya, After the 1000 year riegn and Satan is destroyed, it talkes about the new Jerusalem, The 12 gates are gaurded by Angels, Why? If there is no more sin, why do they have to be gaurded?
Is it because God created evil "evil in it's purest form Glorifies God"? And the possibility of maybe another race or Angel, or World, could fall to temptation, instead of being equaly balanced? I do not know, does anybody?

God did not creat evil evil is only the absence of God. Much like is there such a thing as cold no only a absence from heat. Spirit is matter as stated by Einstien His last words were my Spirit is pure energy which is matter I will live for ever. So posed this new question If matter can not be created nor destroyed. how then can Satin be destroyed if he is matter?

I am pretty sure that if you check, you will find the natural state of the universe is cold, not the absence of heat.

    But I will check.

Not trying to be a Nazi here, but the last two posts from Littleman2 and Slimland have nothing to do with the big bang theory. They are both religious in nature.

Big bang = God said let there be light. Every thing else foot notes.
I agree with both of you. I can be on sides with both the big bang and creationisim. I just don't see the need for one or the other i feel if one joins both it all works out.

    What I want to know.....

Is our sun the center of the "big bang"????

Some other body in the center of the milky way the center?

    And are simply debris???

Was there more than one bang, like maybe one for each star out there?

You bring up something about "science", then "GOD said let there be light", and BANG... We had light. I know about "CREATIONISM". I had years of that in school. I want to know about the "flip-side" of the coin. And where did those huge foot prints come from in Glen Rose, TX??? I mean, they were old when the "hills" were infants. Where did they fit in?

Look at the evolution. Neanderthal, cro-magnon, homo-sapien. We were created in GOD's image, so has HIS image changed over the years? Did he start out with foot prints that were 7 inches wide, and 25 inches long, with a ten foot stride? Have we given him that much grief that HE's shrinking???

You started it, now follow through with it. Don't leave me hanging.

Bolongnia, I simply stated from your Darwin theology, that there is a God, that is based on what he said, therfor it aplies to the big bang, evolution, and science. So it does have to do with the topic.

So how many other religion's gods (especially those thousands of years older than Christianity) get the credit of working on and or "creating" the world?
