Default No wonder the cops were so thick

A few years ago I was running across US 20 in Ohio at about 2 am with a group of about 7 or 8 other trucks. We were having a good time chatting on the CB and making really good time when all of a sudden we spotted the first cop sitting on the side of the road.

Well in the next 20 miles we seen no less than 10 cops sitting along the road. We got to wondering about why the cops were so thick at that early hour.

Well we finally figured it out. One truck had a load of coffee, another had a load of paper goods (cups, plates, napkins) there was a tanker hauling milk, and the last truck in the group had on a load of donuts.

I am really suprised that we made it through with our trailers intact. Either that or end up with a police escort to the state line.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

No worse than me one time I actually had an escort to my consignee one time I had the BEER for the local State Police HQ's Chirstmas party on one time I never knew that about 100 cops and there spuses could drink 45K ponds of beer in one night. They did and the next day I had to take the empty kegs back to the brewery.

Default your so full of bs

Let's see 45,000lbs of beer 100 cops...100wives=200 divided by 45,000..thats 225lbs. of beer each...I dont think so...Do you think that were all a bunch of stupid truck drivers?

I did nto say the cops drank it all that day I had to stay there to take all the empty kegs back I think there were around 25 half barrels that had to be hauled back plus all the empty pallets. Besides beer itself is not that heavy what makes it heavy is the glass that it is put in or the keg itself weighs 65 lbs empty full 120 lbs. 26 pallets of glass weigh 42K full of beer on small wood weigh the same so not to much difference. Remember I hauled for the biggest beer hauler there is namely Millis transfer.
