trucking annonyms
I am getting back into OTR and was explaining to my girlfriend some of the goofy thing drivers say on the C.B. I was trying to remember all of the "names" people associate with company's and forgot alot of them. If anyone knows some I don't mention please post them because she thinks these are freaking hilarious...thanks

Naww, JB Hunt's !!! It's been a classic for over 20 years !!!
I won't say it here as it does have one particular word that may be deemed unfit or make some uncomfortable.
But you old timers know exactly what it is

there ya go doc....you did it with a clean version...never heard the inc. part pretty good.
BTW doc I haven't had the time to post yet but the stories on your topic are great. my grandfather is a 40 retiree and everytime I hear one of your story's it reminds me of him and my childhood listening to his story's of "the monfort lane". I even called him to tell him about it, but at 84 years of age he's probably not gonna write any story's. I'm going to our family reunion this weekend in southern IL, and maybe I can get a few to post on your topic. Thanks again for the J.B. joke and keep the story's coming.
also. sorry if I made you feel old with the comparison to my grandfather, but at 27years old, most in the industry are older than me!

LOL I used to work for themback in the days of the tiny little cabover internationals. And actually PAM stands for Paul Allen Miestri He was a JB hunt exec that left jb and took some of there customer base with him. That is how PAM started.

My grandpa used to drive with JB Hunt back in the day I think JB drove for Suprior or something like that back in the day. I also went and met him but would never drive for the SOB.

I was at a family function last weekend and one of my relatives drives for J.B. and loves it.... after talking to him for a while I noticed that J.B is a sorry excuse for a company. He told me a story about how they sent him to go drive a million mile drivers truck because the spoiled ba$tard refused to go to NYC. After the driver made him pay for the tolls on the GW bridge,(cause he said he was broke) they hit the dock, went into the lounge and found another JB driver he knew. Then the million mile driver called a Chinese restaurant and ordered delivery. My cousin called dispatch and told them and they laughed and said "Oh well he's been here 13 years, so he can do as he pleases"
Not the kind of company I want to drive for
