Well lets see how the all mighty teamsters handle contract negotiations in 2013 with UPS & UPS frieght, should be interesting... If things don.t get better in the economy in the next 3 years and frieght does not pick up Brown is going to need some sort of help to maintain daily operations.
The freight side with some 12,000 plus employees are going to demand the same contract that the ground side has which will bump Browns cost up a hefty amount, That is not going to happen and I believe we may just see some sort of strike coming.
The freight employees that I know, feel screwed by Brown and by the Teamsters because when all is said and done the Teamsters were looking out for themselves not for the employees when the freight contract was ratified. And Brown was doing the same.
Best move I ever made was to leave the Teamsters.
