Three people were injured Monday morning when a dozen horses escaped from a big rig trailer onto the 91 Freeway in Corona freeway, a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said. The incident occurred at 3:30 a.m. on the eastbound 91 Freeway just east of Green River Road, according to a CHP dispatcher. One horse was killed when it was struck by several vehicles and three others were injured.
